Rare Find
This is a lovely late Victorian 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880. It has been set with three well matched old mine cut diamonds. The largest one in the centre has an estimated weight of half a carat and the total estimated weight is 1.10 carats. There are small rose diamond points, as they are known, in between that give the ring a clean line. There are also tiny rose diamond points at either end. The shank is called a carved half hoop because of the scroll work detailing on the sides. It would make a wonderful engagement ring
