A pretty 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880. It has been double claw set with five graduated sapphires that have a total approximate weight of 2.36 carats. They are a lovely Royal blue colour. In between are rose diamond points contained within the ornate claws, that serve to give the ring a good line and a subtle glitter. The carved half hoop sides are an ornate scroll design.
A beautiful engagement or dress ring.
