A good looking 22ct gold ring that has been claw set with three well matched cornflower blue sapphires and two old mine cut diamonds. The sides are a carved half hoop design which is a lovely detail on this pretty ring.
The top section of the ring is likely 18ct gold and dates to approximately 1900- 1910. The 22ct gold shank is a later addition to the ring and was assayed in 1939.
It would be an ideal engagement ring.
