Free Worldwide DeliveryThis is a beautiful 18ct gold Victorian ring. It was made circa 1880 and has been claw set with five well matched old mine cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 1.35 carats. In between the diamonds and at each end are small diamond points as they are called. They serve to give the ring a good line and were often used in Victorian and Edwardian rings. The shank is called a carved half hoop because of the scroll decoration on the sides.
It would be an ideal engagement ring as it sits low on the finger and curves around it nicely.
