Victorian 18ct Gold, Burma Ruby Five Stone Carved Half Hoop Ring with Diamond Points

73S
480 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning late Victorian 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1860-1890. It has been set with six beautiful and well matched rubies with good saturation that were most likely sourced in Burma (Myanmar) On either side are small diamonds points, as they are called. These served to give the ring a good line with just a little subtle glitter, and were often used in the Victorian period. A wonderful ring that could be worn as an engagement ring or a Ruby anniversary ring.
