Single Stone Diamond Ring

Sold

399F

This ring has an old mine cut diamond, probably cut in the Georgian period (1800-1820). It has been reset in the 1920s in an 18ct gold and platinum shank. The diamond is large and has some carbon flecks within the stone.

Written by Olly Gerrish

This ring’s carbon flecks can be taken out with modern techniques but in my opinion it’s best to leave it alone as it is an old stone and has character
