An unusual 14ct58.5% pure gold (or 585 parts pure gold to 415 parts other metals) More gold ring that was made in the 1940-1950 period and has been set with a large emerald cutA square or rectangular cut stone with a square table and step cut sides. More syntheticA man-made material with essentially the same optical, chemical and physical properties as its natural counterpart, but completely artificial. Commonly used for calibré settings due to the colour matching possibilities. More pink sapphireBlue is the best-known colour for this gemstone but it can be found in all colours of the spectrum. After diamond, sapphire is the hardest gemstone.
More. It is flanked on either side with gold scroll work and small diamonds. It was possibly made in Germany.
