This stunning 18ct gold three stone ring was made circa 1890. It features three claw-set old European cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of 1.80 carats. The proportions of the stones, with their high crowns, supply the diamonds with plenty of “fire”. This refers to the flashes of spectral colour that give diamonds their lively appearance. The trifurcated shoulders give the sides of the ring a lovely floral look, with a diamond flower set above a stem and two leaves. This ring would make the perfect engagement ring.
