Rare Find
A very unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been set with a luminous cornflower blue sapphire, most likely Ceylon, with an opal on either side. In between are four tiny rose diamonds. The shoulders have carved scrollwork detail. The combination of the stones is so wonderful as the blue flashes in the opals echo the blue of the sapphire.
This ring looks fabulous when worn.
