This is a beautiful 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) More gold ring that was made circa 1830-1850. It has been clawA precious metal prong used to hold a gemstone in place. More set with five glorious emeralds that are a stunning green and they are well matched stones. There are tiny rose diamonds along the edge that form the claws and give the ring a subtle sparkle. The shouldersThe point on a ring where the central section meets the shank or band, often carved, decorated or inlaid with small diamond accent stones. More are an attractive pierced scroll design.
It sits low on the finger and curves gently around it so it would be a lovely dress or engagement ring.
