A pretty 18ct yellow gold ring that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been claw set with five graduated old mine cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of 0.84 carats. The stones are well matched and bright white. It is called a carved half hoop due to the ornate scroll decoration on the sides. It sits low on the finger and curves around it nicely and would make a lovely engagement ring.
