A lovely 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880-1900. It has been set with five well matched white graduated old mine cut diamonds. On either side of each diamond are small rose diamonds called diamond points as they give the ring a good line along the edges.This was a popular design in the Victorian period. The shank is called a carved half hoop because of the decoration on either side. It would make a wonderful engagement ring.
