Victorian 18ct Gold, Black Enamel Three Stone Diamond Ring

347W
352 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

An impressive heavy gage 18ct gold mourning ring that has been engraved inside the shank “Kate Higton. 12/8/1873”. It has been set with three bright white and well matched old mine cut diamonds within diamond shaped settings. Each diamond has black enamel on all for corners of the square section. The shank has an ivy leaf on either side surrounded with black enamel. The ivy leaf literally means “Cling to me”. It is in great condition and looks smart when worn.
