Sold

ThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnailThumbnail

A most unusual 18ct gold early Georgian ring, circa 1750-1780, set with a large chrysolite flanked by two square cut rubies. Chrysolites were popular in the 18th century. They were believed to give potence to the male. It is a large ring so it may have been worn over a glove or by a man.
