Georgian 18ct Gold, Blue & Black Enamel Mourning Ring

An unusual 18ct gold mourning ring that was assayed in 1833.  It has finely detailed in Cloisonne enamel work around the lettering which reads “In memory of”.   Inside the shank is engraved “Thomas James Obt (died) 6 sept 1848 Aet (aged) 77.  Charlotte James Ob 8 March 1849 Aet 17”.  This ring cannot be sized.
