A very pretty 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) More white and yellow gold ring that was made circa 1900-1920. It has been set with a Royal blue cabochonA polished, not faceted, dome shaped stone - either round or oval with a flat polished base, primarily used as a cut for phenomenal stones such as cat's eyes and stars.
More cut sapphireBlue is the best-known colour for this gemstone but it can be found in all colours of the spectrum. After diamond, sapphire is the hardest gemstone.
