Victorian Diamond Shamrock Brooch

662S
330 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a wonderful early Victorian brooch made circa 1840-1860 that features three lucky shamrocks or three leaf clovers. It has been set with graduated old mine cut diamonds and rose diamonds with a total weight of 2.25 carats. Old diamonds have a special look that cannot be recreated today as they were hand cut as opposed to the modern laser cut. They twinkle in candlelight so beautifully.

It has a secure later added roll over catch
