An unusual 9ct gold locket that opens two ways. It hinges open at the front then the locket inside hinges open again to reveal another compartment for a photograph. There are four compartments so it would be ideal for family photographs. The front has enamelled roses and a “Forget me Not” in the centre set with natural split pearls. This sent a message to the wearer. The reverse has been engraved in detail with a floriate motif.
A very unusual locket
