A Victorian oval locket set with turquoise and pearls in a laurel leaf design. The turquoise means “Forget me not” after the flower of the same name, and the pearls are for tears. On the reverse is engraved a garter with a small area between which can be used to engrave initials etc. This locket would have been intended for the wearer to remember someone when wearing it.
