Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful 18ct gold late Victorian ring that was made circa 1910. It has been claw set with twenty three old mine cut diamonds. They are deep stones with high tables and are very well matched. It was made by Alabaster & Wilson Ltd . For more than 100 years, Alabaster & Wilson Ltd were based in Birmingham and closed in 2018. They symbolised expert craftsmanship and the manufacture of very fine jewellery in England and have made high quality pieces for many of the leading jewellery companies such as Cartier.

It curves around the finger and sits low making it an ideal choice for an engagement ring.
