More in 1892 in Birmingham by Barnet Henry Joseph & Co. The business of manufacturing and wholesale jewellers was commenced by Barnet Henry Joseph and his brother Henry Joseph in 1865 in Birmingham until 1929. From 1878 B.H. Joseph & Co opened showrooms in London and was said to be one of the largest jewellery houses in the trade. They manufactured many designs and this ring is a good example of their work. More set with seven graduated bright white transition cutDirect descendants of the Old European Cut, this progressive cuts saw an evolution toward a larger table, a lower crown, and a smaller culet than previous cuts. However, unlike later brilliants, the girdles of these stones remained unfaceted. Considered a precursor to both the Modern Round Brilliant and the Ideal cuts. More diamonds in a boat shaped design.
