Rare Find
210 Admirers

A rare pair of 18ct gold and enamel cufflinks that are a good example of what was produced by the firm Benzie based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. They were made circa 1880. Benzies was founded in 1862 by Mr Simpson Benzie. The firm made all sorts of good quality jewellery including tie pins and brooches that were nautical related. The red flag was the flag for the Royal Victoria yacht club.
