Rare Find
A fabulous ring that was made circa 1850. It has been pinched collet set with a pear shaped emerald. It is a wonderful verdant green colour and is most likely of Colombian origin. The centre stone is surrounded by a cluster of seventeen old mine cut diamonds. If you look carefully you can see that the settings have been specially constructed for each stone as the diamonds are all slightly different in size and shape. The diamonds are silver set and the shank is 18ct gold. A stunning ring to wear and one that will certainly be commented on!
