Three Victorian Gold Cased Seals on a Split Ring
A clutch of seals that were made circa 1820-1850. Two are set with pale A microcrystalline type of quartz occurring in several different forms including onyx and agate. on the bases. One has an An engraved stone, the opposite of a cameo, with a recessed design cut below the surface of the stone. Intaglio designs are common for signet rings and fob seals. of a rose. The third has a rock crystal base. They are gold cased with a metal core. They are attached to a Jewellery made in the Georgian era (1714-1830). split ring and are ideal to wear on a medium length chain.
