This is an unusual Georgian ring that was made circa 1820. It is composed of three lines of small claw set old mine cut diamonds. The band is 15ct gold and the top is silver. Diamonds from the Georgian period are a wonderful darkish colour with sharp glints that catch the light beautifully, so they are quite different from the modern brilliant cut stones.
