In many countries, import tax/duty do not apply when purchasing antiques aged over 100 years old. We declare these items as 'Personal adornment, over 100 years old', providing a signed and dated Antique Declaration form. Georgian and Victorian jewelry (around 40% of our inventory) falls into this category.

Items under 100 years old

In many countries, import tax/duty/handling fees apply when purchasing items under 100 years. Jewelry from periods other than Georgian and Victorian (around 60% of our inventory) falls into this category.

Usually your country will have a website or customs office providing you with the relevant rates.

Further partial restrictions on importation of items such as ours exist in specific countries. Please contact us to make sure your country does not fit into this bracket.

We have no authority over a local country's customs department.

Sometimes it can be tricky finding out her size without being caught. In these circumstances we recommend saving your free sizing until after you've proposed or the recipient has received their ring. Just send your ring back to us via secure post or visit us at our London showroom and we will measure your partner's finger and take it to get sized.

We offer our customers in the UK the chance to spread the cost of their purchase with up to 12 months Interest Free Finance, for loans of up to £5,000.

For orders over £5,000, the difference can be applied as a deposit, made payable to the AJC.

Please note discounts cannot be applied when using interest free finance as a payment method.

Our instalment plan requires a non-refundable deposit of 20% and the balance must be paid in full over a three-month period.

• Choose ‘Pay in interest free monthly installments' in the payment step at checkout and press 'Complete Order'

• Choose the length of plan (2-12 months) and the start date for the plan
• Complete the secure online application and e-sign the form
• Receive an instant decision on whether or not you have passed the credit check

You will need to provide some additional information to support your application, such as a Photo ID and Proof of Address.

Yes, of course. You can call PayItMonthly to make extra payments, increase your payments or pay off your balance early as and when you want to. There is no penalty involved, so there is no need to worry about being charged for doing so.

You are able to spread the cost from anywhere between 1 and 12 months, by choosing the length of term on the online application form.

PayItMonthly interest free credit is available for up to £5,000.00.

If an order's cost exceeds £5,000.00, the difference can be applied as a deposit.

For example, if you use finance towards a £6,000.00 ring, then £5,000.00 can be financed and the remainder (£1,000.00) paid directly to the AJC as a deposit. Please note that the deposit is a separate arrangement with the AJC and would need to be paid before dispatching the item.

Return the item/s to us within the original packaging (including padded envelope). Attach the two DHL return labels provided to the outside of the parcel.

Drop off the parcel at your nearest DHL Service Point.

You must pay for the return postage and any taxes and duties applied.

Contact us within 30 days of receipt of the item to let us know of your intention to return the item/s.

We strongly recommend that you return the item/s via DHL Express Worldwide as we are not responsible for items that do not reach us. Import tax/duty may also be applied by UK customs if the item/s are not shipped correctly.

Return the item/s to us within the original packaging (including padded envelope). Attach the DHL return label supplied with your order to the outside of the parcel. If you are only returning part of your order, we will need to send you a new DHL return label.

Drop off the parcel at your nearest DHL Service Point, and hand the shipper the Antique Declaration that was attached to the outside of the original DHL envelope. Please request a copy from us if this has been misplaced.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the UK.

You have 60 days to exchange or part-exchange an item.
