Book Your AppointmentA lovely GeorgianJewellery made in the Georgian era (1714-1830). ring made circa 1800-1820 and set with white and red pasteGlass made to resemble gem materials, which may be moulded, faceted, carved, etc. to simulate rose diamonds and rubies. The body is blue glass. Georgian rings like this were known as “bagues au firmament”, or “rings of the heavens”. The deep blue glass was intended to evoke the night sky, and the paste, stars.
Such rings are increasingly rare to find these days.
I love these Georgian rings, no one is the same!
