A rare GeorgianJewellery made in the Georgian era (1714-1830). More gold and silverA metallic element which is malleable and ductile, and white in colour, making it ideal for use in jewellery. It is usually mixed with copper to improve its hardness.
More pendant that was made circa 1820. In the centre is a pear shaped topazIt comes in many colours, including brown, green. blue, yellow, red, pink and orange. Topaz is very hard, being 8 on the Mohs scale, with a high cleavage. More. Below it is a moon shaped agateA variety of cryptocrystalline quartz (chalcedony), typically banded in appearance. The use of agate in jewellery dates back to the Stone Age. More with fine red and black hair like inclusions within the stone.
