Free Worldwide DeliveryAn unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1820. At first it appears to be a pretty cluster set with turquoise and a small diamond in the centre, but on closer inspection it hinges open to reveal a hidden compartment. Some reference this style to a poison ring but I think it would originally have held a lock of hair. The ornate bifurcated shoulders are typical of the late Georgian period.
A beautiful ring that is a collector’s item and so special.
