Rare Find
A stunning sapphire and diamond ring. It was made in France in the early 1900s and is a fabulous example of fine craftsmanship. The ring is platinum and is set with an oval sapphire surrounded by ten well matched white diamonds. There is millgrain decoration around the sapphire and the outer edge. Millgrain decoration is the form of tiny bead shapes that are raised using a knurling tool and which add intricate detail and which give this ring an elegant look. There are also tiny triangular shaped sapphires all around the edge which add extra detail. It is a fine and beautiful ring and would be a lovely engagement ring.
