Free Worldwide DeliveryA stunning Art Deco platinum ring that was made in the 1920s. It has been set with a large sapphire in the centre with an old European cut diamond on either side. The estimated 2.50 carat sapphire is a glorious mid blue colour and is of Burmese origin. There are small rose diamonds set in between the large stones that serve to give the ring a good smooth line. The shank is a lovely reeded design and the gallery has detailed pierced scroll work. The ring sits low and curves around the finger beautifully. The ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the sapphire is a natural stone with no indications of heating, originating from Myanmar (Burma). It would make a perfect engagement ring.
