The company was founded by Lucien Péry in Paris around 1875. In the 1920s, Lucien’s son, Albert Péry, collaborated with Van Cleef & Arpels. The Péry workshop was responsible for crafting many of Van Cleef & Arpels’ most iconic pieces, including the Passe-Partout transformable jewels, Ludo bracelets, Zip necklaces, and La Boutique animal brooches. The Péry workshop also worked with other major jewelry houses, such as Mauboussin, Templier, and Tiffany & Co. As a result of their collaborations, Péry’s creations were owned by prominent figures like the Duchess of Windsor and Grace Kelly.
The firm was eventually sold to Van Cleef & Arpels in 2012.
This is one fine and very wearable example of the high end craftsmanship jewellery produced by the firm.
