A stunning pair of platinum Edwardian earrings that were made circa 1910. Each earring is composed of a small diamond at the top with five natural pearls below then a ring of natural pearls with a briolette diamond suspended. The briolette diamond first emerged in India in the 1600s. Throughout the decades it has been showcased by many brands like Cartier, Van Cleef, and David Morris, just to name a few. It has from it’s emergence been seen as a sign of luxury and beauty. It is and always has been a rare cut diamond. The wires are 15ct gold.
