Edwardian Platinum & Diamond Crossover Ring

348X
617 Admirers

platinum ring that was made circa 1910-1920. It has been claw set with two well matched transition cut white diamonds that have a total approximate weight of one carat. There are further small diamonds set in to the shoulders. There is lovely millgrain detail on the shoulders and the back of the settings have been hand filed. The design is called a crossover which was very popular in the early 20th century and is as stylish to wear nowadays as it was over a hundred years ago.

It would make a perfect engagement ring.
