More that displays purple hues. The colour shift is from blue in daylight to bluish-purple in incandescent light. Blue sapphire is coloured by iron and titanium. The violet colours are because there are traces of vanadium. It is surrounded by two rows of well matched white diamonds within millgrained settings. The outer ring of diamonds have scalloped edges. It sits low on the finger so it would make a beautiful engagement ring.
