Edwardian Natural Seed Pearl & Citrine Drops Necklace

368R
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a pretty necklace that was made circa 1900-1910. It is composed of a string of evenly matched natural seed pearls interspersed with twenty two pear shaped double rose cut citrine drops. These necklaces were made up in India for the English market and were extremely popular in the Edwardian period as they went so well with the fashions at that time.

They are as wearable now as they were then. It has been restrung so it is in good condition.
