This ring has been set with three well matched opals that display red, green and blue flashes of colour. In between are small diamonds that give the ring a sparkle. The opals were imported from Australia where new mines, notably Lightning Ridge were extracting wonderful opals. Prior to the new discoveries opals had been sourced in Hungary and were nowhere near the quality of the Australian stones.
