This is an absolutely beautiful 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) More gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1902. It has been set with three well matched opals that exhibit intense flashes of red, blue and green. They are framed by a border of small clawA precious metal prong used to hold a gemstone in place. More set diamonds. The whole effect is mesmerising when worn. It also sits low on the finger and curves around it nicely. A stunning ring that has stood the test of time
