Edwardian 18ct Gold Snake Ring set with a Diamond

56S
805 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold snake ring that was made in Birmingham in 1914. He coils nicely around the finger and his head has been set with a diamond. The snake motif in antique jewellery represented “Eternal love and wisdom” and the diamond further underlined the sentiment as it stands for “Eternal Love”, so this ring would have been a gift from an admirer.
