The prettiest ring has come our way. It is 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) More gold and was made in Birmingham in 1913. Five well matched pear shaped sapphires have been arranged in a clusterA group of small diamonds or colourful gemstones grouped together to form a cluster, mimicking the look of a larger gem. Often this group can surround a larger center stone. More to form a pansy. This flower was often used in antiqueFrom the Latin 'antiquus', meaning 'old and long in existence', it is generally used to refer to collectible artifacts of at least 100 years of age.
More jewellery as it was a pun on the name Pansy “Pense a moi” Thinking of me. In between are tiny rose diamonds that glitter subtly. The shouldersThe point on a ring where the central section meets the shank or band, often carved, decorated or inlaid with small diamond accent stones. More have a lovely scroll work design. What a perfect ring to propose with.
