The prettiest ring has come our way. It is 18ct gold and was made in Birmingham in 1913. Five well matched pear shaped sapphires have been arranged in a cluster to form a pansy. This flower was often used in antique jewellery as it was a pun on the name Pansy “Pense a moi” Thinking of me. In between are tiny rose diamonds that glitter subtly. The shoulders have a lovely scroll work design. What a perfect ring to propose with.
