Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Two Stone Diamond Crossover Ring

243Z
612 Admirers

A very pretty 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made circa 1910. It has been claw set with two bright white early brilliant cut diamonds in a cross over design that have an approximate total weight of 0.90 carats.  There are further three  small diamonds set in to each of the shoulders. At that time the influence of the Art Nouveau style was manifesting itself in furniture and textiles. Jewellery also adopted the sinuous style that was typical of the period.

This ring would make a lovely engagement ring.
