Edwardian 18ct Gold Pear Shaped Cabochon Opal & Diamond Drop Earrings

12X
80 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A fabulous pair of opal and diamond earrings that were made in the early 1900s. The claw set pear shaped opals are very large stones with total estimated weight of over six and a half carats and have been cut “en cabochon” to show off their wonderful blue red and green flashes. Above each opal is a claw set diamond with post and scroll fittings.

They are impressive and unusual.
