Edwardian 18ct Gold, Five Stone Emerald & Diamond Boat Shaped Ring

327S
880 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold emerald and diamond boat shaped ring that was made in the Edwardian period. The emeralds are well matched and complimented by graduated old mine cut diamonds around them. The top is platinum and the shank is 18ct gold. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear, and curves round the finger beautifully. Inside is engraved the word “Mizpah” and the date 1907. Mizpah is a Hebrew word that means ‘watchtower’ and is loosely interpreted as “May God watch over you”.
