A pretty 18ct gold ring with a platinum top that was made circa 1900-1915. It is set with five well matched white graduated diamonds. The shank is lovely with scroll work decoration on the sides. The diamonds are set in to a millgrain setting. Millgrain, is a close-set row of metal beads that are typically used as a border. This work was achieved with a knurling tool and is a lovely detail on this ring. It would be ideal as an engagement ring.
