Edwardian 18ct Gold, Diamond & Opal Heart Shaped Ring

391N
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1900-1910 when opals were very popular as they went so well with the fashions of that period. Antique opals are still extremely desirable today as the old material is not easy to find. The opal in this ring displays predominantly blue and green flashes. It is surrounded by graded rose diamonds and has a split shank on either side that gives the ring a lighter overall look. It would make an ideal dress or engagement ring.
