It has also been set with rose diamonds with a bow. The little white enamelled and natural pearlA pearl-bearing mollusc that has not been tampered with by man to produce a cultivated pearl will produce a 'natural pearl'. More set mouse scurries up the inside of the shoe. I am baffled at the meaning but maybe it was a special commission.
It also has a screw fitting underneath so it may have been attached to a larger piece or have been worn as a tiepin.
