For all you sportsmen out there, a wonderful 15ct three colour gold brooch of a gun and pheasant that was made in the early 1900s. The pheasant is well modelled and is red and yellow gold with platinum on the wings and an enamelled head. It is in the original case and was retailed by Garrards, the Crown jewellers who had the Royal Warrant. The silk on the inside of the case reads “Garrard & Co Ltd. Crown jewellers. 112 Regent St. W1 formerly the Goldsmiths & silversmiths Company Ltd. A top quality piece of jewellery from a top quality shop.
