An unusual and very pretty 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) More gold ring that was most likely made in Austria circa 1900-1915. It has been set with a naturalA natural stone is called such because it has not been subjected to any treatments. More mid blue cabochonA polished, not faceted, dome shaped stone - either round or oval with a flat polished base, primarily used as a cut for phenomenal stones such as cat's eyes and stars.
More sapphireBlue is the best-known colour for this gemstone but it can be found in all colours of the spectrum. After diamond, sapphire is the hardest gemstone.
