Early Victorian 18ct Gold & Black Enamel Souvenir Ring set with Rose Diamonds

825U
120 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A rare 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1830-1850.  Souvenir also means “to remember someone” so this ring would have been a mourning ring. The letters have been set with tiny rose diamonds that have a subtle glitter when worn. They are surrounded by black enamel.  It curves across the finger in a most attractive manner.  A beautiful surviver from nearly two hundred years ago.

Ollys Pick

Such a rare ring. I have never seen one before.
